Find a Kidney for Troy

Here is the original story:

Henoch-Schönlein purpura (pronounced: heh-nok shoon-line purr-puh-ruh) — usually just called HSP which attacked his Kidneys. He has Chronic Kidney Disease.
This page is made for my son Troy Anthony Hanna. Troy was diagnosed back in 2003 with Henoch-Schönlein purpura (pronounced: heh-nok shoon-line purr-puh-ruh) — usually just called HSP which attacked his Kidneys. He has Chronic Kidney Disease. We had an appt on 11/14 in which his Doctor told us he will be put on the National Kidney List. He is now functioning 20-30%. Since he is 16, he will be one o…f the ones at the top of the list for a kidney. We have a lot of testing to do.
Troy is in NO DANGER as of now. His creatinine levels have gone up the past few months which has his Doctors concerned and are starting the process of the Transplant. Meaning, he had blood work done to have all types of tests ran on it and also will be having other tests done within the next few months.  And as I know more, I will let you all know. If anyone is interested in being tested as a Donor, please contact Sherrie Klunk at 410-614-6604.  Troy is O+.
Here is today’s update: Boy, today was a productive day! Woke up, no fever, no headache. Moved back to the 10th floor. Took a walk. Sat in chair for a few. Ate for breakfast-1/4 piece and half a piece of bacon. Lunch-half a turkey sandwich. Dinner-2 chicken tenders and 2 potato wedges. Drank 3 16 oz cups, and a mango Icey. And now he is resting……we need to work on getting up to 12 cups of fluid. Hopefully tomorrow catheter will be removed so he wont be in pain with that. It is cause bladder spasms. Whew….its been a long day. I am about to shower and relax so I am ready for yet another productive day tomorrow. ♥ M
